Where is Yangkou Industrial Park? 

 

 Rudong County is located on the north bank of the Yangtze River estuary, near Shanghai.Within a 2-hour economic circle, it faces the Yellow Sea to the east, the Yangtze River to the south, and its proximity to the river, sea, and Shanghai is Rudong's greatest geographical advantage. What are we?

 

   

   Yangkou Chemical Industrial Park has successively received honors such as 'Jiangsu Province New Industrialization Industry Demonstration Base', 'Jiangsu Province Information and Industrial Integration Experimental Zone', and 'Jiangsu Province Characteristic Industry Cluster', ranking among the 'Top 30 Chemical Parks in China 2019' and awarded the title of 'Pilot Demonstration Unit for Smart Chemical Parks in China'. It has a certain reputation and prestige in the field of fine chemicals both domestically and internationally.

   Currently, there are nearly 100 chemical enterprises in the park, including world-renowned investment companies such as BASF and Sinochem Group, as well as projects invested by listed companies like Shanghai Pharmaceuticals, Yabao Pharmaceutical, and Sanmei Co., Ltd. There are good collaborations with several well-known multinational chemical companies such as Bayer, Sumitomo, Novartis, and Honeywell.

 

   

   The park places great emphasis on leading technological innovation, having introduced 2 national-level engineering technology research centers.It has established 25 provincial-level and above R&D platforms, 13 provincial engineering technology research centers (R&D institutions), 4 provincial enterprise technology centers, and 5 enterprise academician workstations. The park has relatively complete supporting infrastructure. A thermal power plant with a centralized heating capacity of 700 tons/hour has been built, along with a centralized sewage treatment plant with a daily processing capacity of 40,000 tons, and a hazardous waste treatment center with an annual processing capacity of 60,000 tons, as well as a hazardous waste landfill with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons.

Pesticides: The pesticide raw materials and formulations sector, represented by companies such as BASF Plant Protection, Youjia Plant Protection, Changqing Agrochemical, and Kuaida Agrochemical, has reached a considerable scale, with over 20 national designated pesticide production enterprises, making the pesticide sector an important support for the park's development.

Pharmaceuticals: The pharmaceutical raw materials sector, represented by companies such as Haizheng Pharmaceutical, Changyou Pharmaceutical, and Jinghua Pharmaceutical, has formed a certain scale, with 7 companies passing national GMP certification, making the pharmaceutical sector an important component of the park's development.
